A new school takes shape one completed element at a time. At the new high school under construction in Googong, NSW, All Seasons Living has finished its part of a future sporting space: installing First Class Cricket turf and the cricket crease markings over a prepared pitch base.
Our role in the project
All Seasons Living was contracted to lay the cricket turf over the existing prepared base. Our scope focused on the surface installation and setting out the crease markings to the project’s specified cricket dimensions.
This was a new installation within a school construction project. The photographs show our completed turf work while building and landscaping activity continued around the pitch.
First Class Cricket turf and a defined finish
First Class Cricket turf was the product installed for this pitch. The finished green strip follows the prepared base, with contrasting white crease markings defining the playing area.
The close-up views show the surface and markings, while the wider photograph puts the installation in context. Beyond the pitch, the surrounding grounds are still being formed as part of the new school build.
Looking ahead to the next innings
Completing our installation is a milestone within the broader project. The school and its surrounding grounds remain under construction in these photographs, so this is a look at the finished pitch surface before the overall sporting space is complete.
We’re proud to contribute to a new school in Googong and a facility intended for future students to enjoy cricket. Alongside our residential work, this project shows another application for our turf installation work: a dedicated cricket surface within a developing school site.
